Description
Your aim in the game Money! is to trade currencies with the bank and other players, so that in the end you end up with a higher value than anyone else.
Each player starts with six cards from the deck, which contains cards in seven currencies ranging in value from 20 to 60, along with 10-value coins. Four cards from the deck are placed face up to the left and right of the player.
During the round, each player selects an offer of one or more cards from their hand, after which everyone reveals their offer at the same time. The player who offers the highest total takes the four cards to the left or right of the set or another player’s bid, adds these cards to their hand, and then places their bid next to the set or in front of the player whose bid they have accepted. (Alternatively, a player may return their bid to their hand.) The next player with the highest bid then resolves their bid in the same way. Once all players have resolved their bids, cards are drawn from the set to top up the piles to the left and right of the set to four cards each. When the deck runs out, play one final round and then tally up the cards in your hand.
If you have 200 or more points in a single currency, you score that many points. If you have fewer than 200 points in a currency, subtract 100 from that amount, but do not go below 0. If you have all three points of 20 or 30 in a currency, you score 100 points on top of whatever that currency awards you. Add these amounts together with the coins you have in your hand. The player with the highest total wins.
