Description
Qwixx is a fast dice game in which everyone takes part, no matter whose turn it is. Each player has a score sheet with numbers 2-12 in the red and yellow rows and numbers 12-2 in the green and blue rows. To score points, you must mark off as many numbers as possible, but you can only mark a number if it is to the right of all marked numbers in the same row.On their turn, the active player rolls six dice: two white and one in each of the four colours listed above. Each player may choose to mark the sum of the two white dice in one of their four rows, and then the active player may choose to mark the sum of one coloured die and one white die in the row of the same colour as the die. The more marks you make in a row, the higher your score for that row. If you don't cross off a number when you're the active player, you must mark one of the four penalty boxes on your score sheet. If you mark the 2 or 12 in a row and have at least five numbers marked in that row, you can also mark the lock symbol in that row, closing that colour for everyone else. When a player has marked four penalty boxes or a second colour is locked, the game ends immediately. Players then total their points for each colour, add these values together and subtract five points for each marked penalty box. The highest score wins.
