Description
The game that has won more awards than any other board game in the world. With more than 30 international awards and over a million copies sold worldwide, 7 Wonders has already secured its status as a modern board game classic. This revised version of the much-loved game, adored by players and critics alike, offers an even deeper experience of the ancient world. Built on a simple and elegant card-drafting mechanism, 7 Wonders lets up to 7 players play without waiting, as everyone takes their turns simultaneously. The choices are varied and have a big impact on the game, building up the tension across the three ages. The game is divided into three rounds, called ages, in which players simultaneously choose and play cards representing the various buildings they can construct to develop their city. There are buildings that produce resources, civilian, commercial, military and scientific structures, as well as guilds. At the end of each age, players clash with their neighbours in military conflicts, and at the end of the third age all collected victory points are added up from the developed city, wonders, military victories and the treasury. The player with the most points at the end wins.
