Description
Your aim in each round is to help the guesser work out the secret word. To do this, you and your team can spell out three words.
Players spell out the word by each saying one letter at a time. What’s the catch? You mustn’t discuss which word you’re trying to spell as a clue. When you’ve got the perfect clue in mind, but the person next to you says a letter you weren’t expecting at all… well, that’s Jibber Jabble.
Why we love it
A fun game for any time and place: the game is pocket-sized and doesn’t need a table. This means you can play it in the car, whilst queuing, in a pub, before a big board game night, or anywhere else you can think of.
It highlights different ways of thinking: Word associations are most fun when you can have a laugh at how differently the players around you think. Jibber Jabble focuses on that joy with every single move.
A helping hand for players in a tight spot: One-off power-ups help keep the game flowing, especially when you’re completely stuck. Our favourite is the one where all players suggest a letter whilst counting to three.
Jibber Jabble is a dynamic and incredibly fun game of word association and quick thinking that tests how well you and your fellow players understand each other without words. As players aren’t allowed to coordinate their clues, this leads to unexpected and amusing twists that will entertain the whole group.
Its compact design means you can take it with you wherever you go. Thanks to its simple rules and fast pace, it’s an excellent choice for both short breaks and as a warm-up for longer social evenings. Special one-off powers add extra strategic depth and help resolve unpredictable situations when you’re running out of ideas.
