Description
Mimiq Kmetija is the farm version of Mimiq, a game where words are not enough. The cards show facial expressions made by farm animals. When you want a card from another player, you have to imitate the animal on it with your face. If they don't have the card, they stick their tongue out at you instead of answering. Everyone laughs during the game: those pulling faces and those watching them.
How to play Mimiq Kmetija
At the start, each player draws three cards, and the rest lie face down in a draw pile. The youngest player starts, and play continues clockwise. On your turn, you choose another player and ask them for a card you already have in your hand: you say “Please, do you have …” and make the face from that card.
If the other player has it, they must give you all such cards, and you keep asking. If they don't, they stick their tongue out, you take one card from the pile and your turn ends. You place three matching cards in front of you. When all the sets of three have been collected, the player with the most cards in front of them wins.
Why you will like it
- You don't ask for cards with words but with your face – you imitate farm animals, so every turn is a short performance.
- In this game, the tongue another player sticks out at you is a rule, not rudeness.
- As long as you keep getting cards, you keep asking, so you can complete several sets of three in a single turn.
- Whoever remembers what the others asked for knows whom to ask for the right card.
Who is Mimiq Kmetija for
The game is for two to six players aged 4 and up, and a game takes about 10 minutes. It is simple, the rules fit on a single sheet and you can quickly explain them even to the youngest.
