Description
Amidst the hustle and bustle of medieval Orléans, you must assemble a group of followers – peasants, merchants, knights, clergy and others – to achieve supremacy in medieval France through trade, construction and science.
In the game Orléans, you will recruit followers and send them to work to make the most of their abilities. Farmers and boatmen supply you with money and goods, knights expand your sphere of influence and protect your trading expeditions, craftsmen build trading posts and tools to make work easier, scholars ensure progress in science, merchants open up new locations for your followers to work in, last but not least, it doesn’t hurt to be active in monasteries either, as having priests on your side makes it considerably easier to avoid the fatal blows of chance.
You’ll always want to carry out as many actions as possible, and there are many paths to victory. The challenge lies in combining all the elements as effectively as possible into a cohesive whole, in line with your chosen strategy.
