In the board game Vivo, each round begins by revealing a type of harmony (solo, duet, trio, quartet). The harmony determines how many colours must be played in a trick – if you can’t do this, it counts as playing “out of harmony”, which makes the player ineligible for points.
At the end of a trick, the player who played the highest card in harmony gets two points, and the lowest card in harmony earns a point for that card’s value (bass notes matter!).
