How to play: players roll the die to move their pieces around the board.
Goal: bring all four pieces safely "home", while watching out for other players who can knock you out with their roll and send you back to the start.
Side two: Nine Men's Morris
When you fancy a bit more strategic thinking, simply flip the board. Nine Men's Morris is a game with a long tradition in which luck plays no part.
How to play: each player starts with nine pieces, which they take turns placing on the line intersections.
Goal: form a "mill" – three of your own pieces in a horizontal or vertical row. Each successful mill lets you remove one of your opponent's pieces, and the game continues until one player is left with only two pieces.
