Description
Who is wearing a hat? Does anyone have glasses or red hair? Guess Who? Grab & Go is the classic guessing game for two in a smaller travel edition. Each player has their own frame of faces and secretly draws a character from the pile of mystery cards for the opponent to guess. With every question the circle of suspects gets smaller, until only one is left.
How to play Guess Who? Grab & Go
Before the first game, an adult inserts the character cards into the frames: red ones into the red frame, blue ones into the blue frame. Then each player draws a mystery card and places it in the slot on the front of their frame, so the opponent can't see it. The youngest player starts.
On your turn you ask one yes-or-no question about your opponent's character, for example “Does your character wear a hat?”. Then you close the doors on all the characters that don't match the answer. When you think you know who the mystery character is, you make a guess instead of asking a question. If you guess right, you win; if not, your opponent wins. You can play several rounds, and the first player with five wins becomes the champion.
Why you'll like it
- Every question is a small decision: a well-chosen one closes half the frame at once.
- It gets tense when you weigh up whether to risk a guess or ask one more question, because a wrong guess means you lose.
- The rules take a minute to explain, so even children who are just discovering board games can play it.
- After play you store the pile of cards in the blue frame, place the red one on top and clip them together. The game is quickly ready for a bag, the car or a holiday.
Who is Guess Who? Grab & Go for
The game is for two players aged 6 and up, and one game takes about 20 minutes. It is very simple and suits children, parents and grandparents who want a quick game for two. Because the box is small, you'll be glad to take it with you on a trip or on holiday.
What might you not like?
The game is built on a single simple rule, so it may not be the best fit for those who prefer games with more options and longer thinking. It can only be played by two players.
