Description
Does your character wear glasses? A hat? Guess Who? is a classic guessing game for two in which you ask yes-or-no questions to find your opponent's mystery character. This edition comes with two character sets: classic faces and heroes.
How do you play Guess Who?
Both players pick the same character set and load it into their frame. Each player secretly chooses a mystery character. Then you take turns asking questions, for example whether the character wears a mask. After the answer, you close the doors of all characters that don't match. When you think you know who the mystery character is, you make a guess instead of asking a question. If you're right, you win; if not, you lose.
You can also play several games in a row: keep track of wins with the counter on the frame, and the first to reach five wins.
Why you'll like it
- The rules take a minute to explain, and the game trains observation and logical thinking.
- A good question closes half the characters at once, so every move is worth thinking about.
- Two character sets, classic and heroes, add more variety.
- The frames fold up and clip together, so the game is quick to put away.
Who is Guess Who? for?
The game is for 2 players aged 6 and up, and one game takes about 20 minutes. It is simple and suits children, parents and grandparents alike. There is no text to read in the game, and the rules are in English. Before the first game, some assembly is needed, which should be done by an adult.
For travel, the shop also has the smaller version Guess Who? Grab & Go.
What you might not like
The game is for two players only, so it may not be the best fit for larger groups who want to play all together.
