Description
A cooperative board game of farming and friendship based on Eric Barone's video game Stardew Valley. Work with your fellow farmers to save the valley from the evil JojaMart corporation! To do this, you'll need to farm, fish, make friends and find all sorts of different resources to fulfil your grandfather's goals and restore the Community Center. Collect all kinds of items, raise animals and explore the mine. Gain powerful upgrades and skills, and when the seasons end, see whether you can protect the magic of Stardew Valley! The goal of the game is to fulfil grandpa's goals and restore the Community Center, which requires you to collect various types of resources represented by tiles. You have a set number of turns to achieve this. This is driven by a seasonal deck of 20 cards, one of which is drawn each turn to trigger certain events. Each turn, players decide together where to direct their individual actions and place their farmer in that part of the valley. With their actions, they visit specific locations and try to collect resources to fulfil the shared goals. Actions include things like watering crops, trying to catch fish, rolling dice to explore the mines and much more. When the seasonal deck runs out, the game ends.
