Description
The Danish city of København is criss-crossed by canals and harbours, and one part of it – "Nyhavn" (new harbour) – is famous for its colourful gabled houses by the water. In Copenhagen, players design new façades for these houses so that they fit seamlessly into this beautiful harbour. On their turn, a player can choose to take two adjacent cards from the display (they may never have more than 7 cards) or use cards to buy façade tiles of different shapes and colours. You can buy any tile, but you get a discount if you place the tile so that it touches another of the same colour. Building over certain spaces or completing certain rows gives players new abilities that make their work easier. Completing a row or column earns the player points (doubled if it is all windows). The game is played to 12 points.
