120 tiles and 88 playing pieces – you don't need much more for a varied and abstract gaming experience with Framework. Uwe Rosenberg's game focuses on frames of different colours. These frames must be placed cleverly to complete the tasks printed in the middle of the tiles. The first player to use up all their pieces, i.e. complete 22 tasks, wins the game immediately.Framework requires not only tactical planning but also thinking outside the box, because completing a task takes into account not just the immediately adjacent frames but all tiles with at least one frame of the same colour that are connected to each other horizontally and/or vertically. It is also crucial who takes the right tiles from the middle at the right time. With a skilful move you can trigger chain reactions that let you complete several tasks at once.
