In Sanctuary, you plan and design a modern, scientifically managed zoo for animals and visitors. A supply of 135 unique zoo tiles offers you animals, buildings and projects. In each game, you want to find the best combination among those available to build the most successful zoo. Various effects on the tiles will help you achieve conservation goals and increase your zoo's appeal.Each player has four action cards to manage play, and the strength of an action is determined by the slot the card currently occupies. One of these cards lets you play projects, while the other three let you play animals of a specific habitat: forest, rock or water.Sanctuary is based on its predecessor Ark Nova, but changes and simplifies many of that game's mechanisms in an elegant and surprising way. Your goal of finding the best way to arrange animals, buildings and projects on your zoo map is a constant delight!
